Part of our inspiration came quite literally from the ground. While working in the garden of our 16th-century cottage, we uncovered fragments of old pill and medicine bottles — small reminders of how everyday glassware once carried both beauty and utility. Another influence comes from a chemist’s shop in the Hampshire village of Stockbridge. Its window displays a carefully preserved collection of vintage medicine bottles, soap packaging, and bandage boxes — all marked with simple, effective typography that feels timeless. That balance of clarity, honesty, and style mirrors the visual language we use across the Apothecary range.

How to Use Your Reed Diffuser

• Place your diffuser on a stable, flat surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts.
  
• Insert the included 10 natural rattan reeds into the fragrance oil. For the best scent throw, flip the reeds every few weeks.
  
• Flip carefully to avoid spilling fragrance oil on the outside of the bottle or onto porous surfaces, furniture, or fabrics.
  

General Safety Precautions

• Keep fragrance oil out of reach of children and pets.
  
• DO NOT DRINK or ingest.
  
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. If the oil contacts skin, wash immediately with soap and water.
  
• If diffuser liquid gets in the eyes, rinse thoroughly with cold water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do so.
  
• These are natural ingredients but DO NOT pour the liquid oil into any watercourse.
