Data protection laws are set to changed in the UK and Europe in 2018. This means that we need to inform all our website customers about the information we gain from their visits to Parkminster.co.uk and collect from their shopping experience.

We also need permission to keep sending our customers news and updates about the great offers and products that are available from Parkminster Products and this is acknowledged through their acceptance to 'recieve marketing' in the final parts of the checkout process.

Parkminster Products recognise that the consumer marketing information we maintain must be used responsibly, in beneficial ways and with respect to individual choice.

As a low tech family business we do not collect lots of data about your relationship with Parkminster but we do collect cookies for customer visits to our website and names, telephone numbers, email addresses and physical addresses in order to be able to deliver the orders we receive. This data is stored digitally and is only accessible by our staff for order delivery purposes.

In order to process payments via our website your credit or debit card details will be submitted to a payment processing service. This may be Paypal or another reputable payment processor. We do not store your card details on our system internally and our payment processors comply with all laws both national and international regarding data storage.

Parkminster reserves the right, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to disclose customer information to affiliated UK entities and relevant third-party businesses for marketing endeavors, contingent upon customers' explicit consent upon accepting marketing.

Use of Your Information

All information collected by us is done so for order processing and for promotional reasons and all promotional material sent from us will provide customers with notice of their ability to opt-out of Parkminster Product's promotional activities.

We will always honour our customers’ requests not to receive e-mail, mail, telephone or other solicitations from Parkminster Products

Reporting Security Issues

The Parkminster team takes information security seriously. We use industry standard hosting platforms for all our web and payment platforms and those services comply with the latest rules and regulations regarding data security. However, we do appreciate your efforts to responsibly disclose your findings and will make every effort to acknowledge your contributions.

To report a security issue, email info@parkminster.co.uk and include the words “DATA SECURITY” in the subject line.

The Parkminster team will send a response indicating the next steps in handling your report. After the initial reply to your report, the security team will keep you informed of the progress towards a fix and full announcement and may ask for additional information or guidance.

You can also report a website error through info@parkminster.co.uk please include the URL of the page you were on with detail description of your actions to help us reproduce the issue.
