Parkminster’s Kiln Collection candle refills are carefully crafted to deliver consistent burn performance and long-lasting fragrance. Each refill is designed to fit into our Kiln Collection ceramic jars, but given the hand-thrown nature of our Kiln pots there may be some space around the refill once inserted.

• Ingredients: Natural plant-grown soy wax, blended with 27 exclusive botanical fragrances

• Refill format: Must always be burned inside a suitable ceramic jar

• Making process: Hand-poured in our Fragrance Workshop and left to set naturally for at least 24 hours

To enjoy the full fragrance and safe performance of your Kiln Collection ceramic candle refill, it’s important to follow a few simple guidelines. These practices ensure consistent burn times, cleaner air, and long-lasting fragrance, while keeping your home safe.

Important: Always burn your candle refill inside a suitable ceramic jar. Never burn a refill on its own outside a container.

• Initial burn: Light the refill for at least one hour to allow the wax to melt fully across the surface. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even melt pool.

• Wax cleanliness: Keep the wax free from wick trimmings, matches, and debris.

• Wick maintenance: Trim the wick to 5 mm (¼ inch) before each burn. This helps maintain a steady flame and reduces smoke.

• Smoke management: If the flame starts to smoke, extinguish the candle, allow the wax to cool, trim the wick, and then relight — never trim a burning candle.

• Placement: Always use your ceramic jar on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, or children.

• Extinguishing: Stop burning when only a small amount of wax remains. Burning to the very bottom can cause soot, uneven flames, or overheating of the jar.

Because Kiln Collection candle refills are made with natural soy wax, they burn cooler and cleaner than paraffin-based alternatives, producing minimal residue and maintaining the integrity of your botanical fragrance.
