Why have we chosen the Ribbed Glassware and Candle Design?

We chose the HÆFEN candle’s linear ribbed glass design to enhance the glow and flicker of the candle flame, creating a calm, restorative atmosphere. As the candle burns, the light dances through the ridges of the glass, casting subtle reflections and shadows across your space.

This effect is not just visual — the ribbing gently influences the wax melt, promoting a more even burn and allowing the fragrance to diffuse gradually. Each glass vessel is hand-finished, so minor variations in texture or pattern are natural and part of the unique character of every HÆFEN candle.

Candle Use & Safety for HÆFEN Glass Candles

To enjoy your HÆFEN candle safely and maintain optimal fragrance and burn performance:

• Always burn your candle inside its linear ribbed glass container; it must never be lit outside of the vessel.

• Light the candle for at least one hour to allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the glass.

• Keep the wax pool free from wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.

• Trim the wick to 5–7 mm (¼–½ inch) before each burn.

• If the flame smokes or flickers excessively, extinguish, allow the wax to cool, trim the wick, and relight.

• Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, and pets.

• Avoid burning the candle to the very bottom to prevent uneven flames or soot build-up.

Because soy wax burns cooler than paraffin, HÆFEN candles produce minimal smoke and residue, creating a clean, consistent burn while releasing their hand-blended fragrances slowly over time.
