Not many ‘cottage industries’ can claim actually to have actually started in a cottage. But Krystyna Patey's can. Krystyna set up her business Parkminster Products 8 years ago naming it after her cottage ‘Little Parkminster', situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside.
Parkminster are proud to announce that we are now 95% plastic free across our entire product range, our shipping and packaging materials are completely plastic free and we also control unnecessary plastics in our tea room and office. In today's global economy no business can ever announce that they are 100% plastic free, but we will always continue to assess the situation and make any changes that we can to help stop the unnecessary use of plastic in our business and from our suppliers.
Just before Christmas we had a morning of interviews and photo's for a small article in All About Horsham magazine. Attempting to be super-confident and trying to ignore lenses looking at you is never easy as we're all way too normal to take it seriously. But the results that we have seen so far are amazing and we wanted to thank AAH magazine and Toby Philips Photography for making us look way more classy than we really felt on that cold and wet December day!
Today sees the launch of the Parkminster Kiln Collection Our Kiln Collection has been designed by Parkminster Products in collaboration with a very talented local potter. Our ceramic pots and bowls are thrown and shaped by hand so each has it's own patina and unique feel. The lovely ceramic vessels have any number of uses so once you have enjoyed your candle we recommend that you repurpose your jar for small drinks or for snacks and nibbles with friends.
