PRODUCTION / QUALITY NOTES
Our candles are made using natural ingredients and traditional low-impact methods, which means you may notice small gaps between the wax and glass or a frosted effect on the surface. These are completely natural traits that won’t affect the fragrance, burn time, or quality of your candle.
You are not loosing any volume of wax at all, it's just that unlike mass-produced candles, we don’t preheat our glassware or artificially inflate our Fragrance Workshop temperatures, as this would go against our commitment to sustainability. If you prefer a smoother appearance, simply place your candle in a warm cupboard for an hour or so, and the lines will disappear.

CANDLE CARE & CLP INFORMATION
We recommend the following candle care tips to get the best results from your Parkminster candle.
Burn your candle for at least 1 hour each time, making sure the wax melts all the way to the edge of the container to prevent tunneling.
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris.
Trim candle wick to 5mm (1/4") before each burn.
In the event that your candle wick starts to smoke, extinguish your candle, allow the wax to cool and set, trim it, and then relight it – never trim a burning candle.
Safety first. Don’t leave a flame unattended and make sure it is kept out of drafts.
For a clean and even burn, extinguish your candle when only a small amount of wax remains. Burning it to the very end can cause soot and uneven flames as the wick gets too close to the container

We're always looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. Almost all of the glassware you see in the shops is made outside of the UK, and it is hugely wasteful to put perfectly re-usable containers in the bin. So we're creating candle refills made right here in our Cornwall workshops using the same natural, vegan and plastic free ingredients that we always use.
Our custom-made candle refills are crafted to fit perfectly inside Parkminster candle jars & containers. Made with natural soy wax, 100% pure essential oils, and sustainable fragrance oils, our candle refills ensure a delightful & eco-friendly experience.
Our refills come in 24 of Parkminster's Star Collection hand-blended fragrances. If you order today your refill will be blended and poured by hand in our Cornwall workshop, & sent to you in our low-impact and recycled cardboard packaging.
