A New Look for Parkminster – Same Values, Same Care

As we celebrate our 15th year at Parkminster, we’ve taken some time to reflect on who we are, what we stand for, and how we want to present ourselves to the world. While our ethos hasn’t changed – natural, fresh, authentic – we’ve given our packaging a thoughtful update to reflect the things that set us apart.

Brown Glass: Practical, Beautiful, Timeless

Across our range of candles, diffusers, room mists and reed diffuser refills, you’ll start to see a shift to brown glassware – a style rooted in practicality, but also very much in tune with what people are gravitating towards in their homes right now. The warm tones of brown glass lend a quiet, vintage feel – blending beautifully with everything from pared-back minimal interiors to more characterful, lived-in spaces.

But this isn’t just about looks. Brown glass is traditionally used to protect what’s inside – in our case, fresh, plant-based ingredients and 100% natural fragrance blends. So while the aesthetic might nod to apothecary bottles of the 1930s and ’40s, the functionality still serves a purpose today.

A Label with Meaning

We’ve always been known for our simple, design-conscious packaging – but with this rebrand, we’ve gone even deeper into what makes Parkminster special. Our new labels take inspiration from old chemist and medicinal bottles – clean lines, minimal fuss, but a sense of precision and quiet confidence.

And unlike most brands, we don’t print labels in batches or apply them by machine. Every single product we make is blended and poured to order, and every single label is personalised – with the name of the person who ordered it and the date it was made. It’s our way of reminding you that behind every candle or room mist is a real human being, working by hand in our Fragrance Workshop in Cornwall.

This isn’t mass production. It’s personal. It always has been.

Natural, Fresh, Authentic – and Sustainable

While our look may have changed, everything else you love about Parkminster remains the same. We still use only natural, plant-grown ingredients in every fragrance blend. Our wax is soy-based, our bases are non-toxic and plant-derived, and our entire range is free from nasties. We use recycled and recyclable materials wherever we can – from the glass bottles and jars, to our shipping packaging and product labelling.

We design everything to be re-used or re-purposed – and if you don’t, that’s OK too, because it’s all recyclable. We believe that beautiful things shouldn’t cost the earth – and our production choices reflect that every day.

Why the Change?

We haven’t changed our look in twenty years. But times move on, and so have we. People want honesty and clarity in the things they buy – and we wanted our new branding to better reflect the craft, care and intention that goes into everything we make.

We’re not chasing trends, but we are mindful of how people live now – and how our products fit into your space, not just your routine. Brown glass feels right for this moment – useful, grounded, understated – just like Parkminster.

We’re working hard behind the scenes to update everything, but these things take time – so please bear with us.
